 - Providing Mechanical Project Engineering, engineering services and support.


  • Created over (40) Mill Operation, Maintenance and Installation Manuals for Intergrated Industrial Systems, A rolling mill manufacturing company.  This includes 2 High, 4 High, 6 High and “Z” Mills.
  • Developed the process for the manufacturing a new type of retractable screen for Storm Solutions.
  • Designed a storm protection quoting program, for Storm Solutions, using Visual Studio for quoting jobs using various vendor supplied products.  This program also included a wind load calculator to determine the size and spacing of the fasteners required based on the wind load and the size of the opening to be protected.
  • Trained and certified the Storm Solution installers on the proper methods of installing hurricane rated storm products.
  • Field installation and maintenance manuals for Storm Solutions.
  • Designed and assisted in the installation of a glass curtain wall exterior for the Alex Hotel, New York, New York.  This was designed with no field verification dimensions.
  • Providing consulting, engineering, designing and detailing services for many projects.  Most of which are for Intergrated Industrial Systems and “The Miller Company”.
  • Designed and detailed 4-high rolling mills for bonding precious metals – Intergrated Industrial Systems.

 

- Designed a Document Drawing Database System, using Visual Basic for finding, retrieving and printing drawings and/or other documents for the Windows 95 ™ /NT/2000 environment.


  • Detailing metal panels for Delta, Boston Logan Airport for M.R.S. Enterprises.
  • Assisted in the design of a system for drawing metal panels using AutoCad™ and Microsoft Excel for M.R.S. Enterprises.


 - Designed a 4-high mill and a ZR22B-52 mill for Intergrated Industrial Systems.

  • Introduced and implemented the multi-gauge rolling process where one coil had several finished gauges processed at one time.
  • New fume exhaust system for a casting shop.
  • Designed, installed and trained people on several 4-high reversing mills overseas and domestic.
  • Assisting in the creation of engineering standards at I2S.
  • Created LISP programs and files for making Autocad ™ user friendly.
  • Researched and designed a new standard gamma gauge assembly for I2S.
  • Assisted the Sales Dept. in quotations, which included engineering, manufacturing and assembly costs.  Also provided proposal drawings and other misc. information.
  • Directed and supervised the efforts of all the Mechanical Draftsmen, Design Engineers and Jr. Project Engineers at I2S.
  • Designed a drawing filing system in Visual Studio to replace the manual system.
  • The removal and installation of equipment from Meriden Rolling Mill Industries in Meriden to Sikeston, MO.  This included new foundation and mechanical drawings for all of the equipment.
  • Hired to be the first Mechanical Engineer at I2S to use Autocad ™.
  • Assisted in the implementation of the Autocad ™ Drafting Standards at I2S.
  • The design and installation of (4) horizontal casting lines.
  • Assisted in the installation of annealing furnaces including GE Series Six programming.
  • Installation of a stretch-bend-leveler line and (2) new slitters
  • Assisted in the design of a new tinning line.
  • Design and manufacture of a 50’ circular skylight and parabolic skylight...
  • Field tested building curtain walls in Florida and Indiana
